i am almost to the point where i can do most of the registry hacks with my eyes closed and one hand tied behind my back :} if i wasn't so lazy i wouild have written some .reg files who would do it automagiclly...

I was referring to the program registry links to the 3rd party apps on the storage card that you said would not be in the fresh registry. Sprite restores them so they don't need reinstallation.

Sprite really gives me a lot of comfort the all my set-ups will comes back if I ever have to reset. Although I'm at a point where I'm thinking of a one time clean reinstall. I've just about settled on my final working version with nothing more on my wish list.

BTW I love Qcaps but had to trash keylock and it prevents the center dpad button from working in Opera Mini, so I'll probably wait till I decide on that and what's happening with Opera Mobile on Oct 1.

i dl'd Sprite and the backup did not show up in the specified folder...hmmm makes me wonder....guess i gotta try again...which i did. still not in the folder. guess i could search my pc for it but lefty needs a break

@ cheri--Howdy! Did you run a backp w/Sprite, and now can not find that copy? Me, too...although I've found some new files buried back inside the Q. Let's ask DrQ...he seems to have a pretty good grasp of what's going on.

yeah it tried it with sprite havent looked for the file yet..maybe tomorrow.
