Lightbulb Free Shadow of Legend MMORPG Beta Test for Smartphones!

This may be old news to some:
http://www.shadowoflegend.com/web/betatest.aspx

It seems targeted specifically at Moto Q users (and other QVGA devices).

I signed up and specified my Verizon Moto Q Black, along with my extensive beta experiance (currently in the very exclusive Tabula Rasa beta test). I was accepted within 3 hours.

It is playable on the PC, PPC, and Smartphones.

Warning: It is a 900MB download on your memory card and data plan (through an 800K .cab installer) Also, the game uses about 3MB/hour of bandwidth. The full update/download seems to take about 2 hours.

Interesting review:

.. start deleting those tv episodes, mp3s .. or buy a new memory card!

I'm DJTachyon in the game .. see you there!

Well I finally got it installed. I walked away as it was unpacking the files, and suddenly I heard this blaring music. I came back to the phone, and saw the login screen. Wouldn't let me type anything in. I kept trying, and finally reset the phone. Then it wouldn't load the game. It kept crashing. I know it's in beta so I am not giving them a hard time. I went directly to the executable for SOL and ran it from Explorer, and it loaded up.

Took a while to create my first character, since the left and right keys seem to be reversed in the menus (wtf?) and I just had problems navigating the menus, period. Sometimes it just wouldn't respond to input.

Game loaded and I was surrounded by spiders. Greaaaaaat. I finally figured out how to walk around, and open my character screen. The controls seem clunky, but I do have to still read the manual. I couldn't figure out how to exit or pull up any menus really, so I just turned the phone off, lol. I'll read the manual later on. In all honesty though, I am actually impressed with the scope of the game, considering the platform. Not at all interested in the PC version. If they can pull this off reasonably well on a handheld device, that would be interesting.
