Default FlexMail

I decided to start a new topic on this program. I am on day two of trying this out. Anyone else trying it?

My pros:
-Folders!!
-Filters (I am having trouble getting this to actually work, but if I can, that's going to be awesome)
-Shortcut keys for Delete, Move to Folder, etc.
-Can Empty all at once (which I think you can do if you get -Inbox Extender with outlook)
-FAST response time from developer when asked about downloading attachment issue (see below)
-Can set as email and all shortcuts, etc point to FlexMail
-Can set as SMS and all shortcuts, etc, point to FlexMail

My cons:
-Attachment issues with vzwwireless. I use Verizon Wireless for my work email. Since Wireless Sync on my phone doesn't let me choose to automatically download attachments (instead, you have to tell it to download each one) this isn't translating into the FlexMail. I have emailed them about it.
- Slower than native application

Anyone else?

Sorry to Double Post. Have discovered something else cool. When typing a txt message, there is a bar across the bottom of the screen that keeps track of how many letters you have used of the 160 limit (or whatever the limit is)

Yah!

However, have also discovered something not so cool. Somehow, and it happened yesterday, but I thought it was b/c I was fiddling with the Sync settings, it caused Active Sync not to recognize my Q. It happened today, I think after I went into the native email program.

Rebooting the Q and the desktop didn't help. Neither did uninstalling FlexMail from the Q. After yesterday's problems, I did a restore from a Sprite Backup and reinstalled FlexMail. After today's I reinstalled Active Sync to desktop.

Yuck!

I mean there's an actual bar that moves across the bottom, kinda like when you are waiting for a web page to load. It also has 56/160, 57/160, 58/160 (I think y'all get the picture). But the bar makes if very visual.

I just downloaded FlexMail today and I'm trying to set it up for IMAP...

I'm unable to add symbols from the symbol library. For example: I need to enter ~/Mail/ for my IMAP root folder, but I can't insert the tilda or any other symbol that you access via the ALT-SHIFT menu.

Symbols on the keys($, #, !, etc) all work fine, I just can't insert them from the symbol menu.

Any ideas?
