Default Flexmail 2007 Sept 17 Build

I just noticed that Flexmail has a new build out. I'm going to try it out and report back.

Anyone else given it a whirl? I bought it a long time ago and ended up deleting it b/c I just couldn't take the bugginess...

Apparently, just as buggy and weird acting as before. Dammit because I LOVE LOVE LOVE the interface.

No, they just are better at nagging me for my attention!!

So, every time I go to do something with the Storage (tricky and complicated things such as unchecking the local folders OR moving SMS up the list) it forces a reboot. Hell, it just now forced a reboot when I simply OPENED the list of "Storages" If I refrain from messing with the options, it seems to work o.k. I think I'm going to try to tough it out a little while.

sulster, not sure why you're having problems. I've been using it for several months now, and have yet to experience any issues with it. I'm running my gmail, cox, and hotmail accounts through it, and it works pretty well.

well i sent n99hockey to go find and nag you but i am not sure if he did...

i say if you like the program as much as you say you do i would try and get in contact with a) other users b) the developer and see if you can work it out..

Hm. you are experiencing NO weird waits or inability to change options? are you running an exchane server?

Rudeboy- i tried with the developer last time. they were interested @ first and then just seemed to say 'it s what it is' and blame it being MAPI.

But- the problems I am having appear to be bugginess in the program itself. I haven't seen the other stuff (yet?) that was a problem... inability to turn off Flexmail handling SMS, unsent/missing texts...

I am seriously considering a reset and then a clean install of my apps.. you knwo, cuz I have all that time to waste and all! :D

that sucks... you would think they work with you as much as they can since you are a paying customer and to me a user with some issues is a "better" users, so they can prevent this from happening to other users.. that might be why i am not a software developer :}

I keep hoping to hear some good report on Fleximail but keep hearing the same problems. I decided a month ago that I really wanted to get HTML emails and a little better handling of my email so I bought Profimail and it's working OK with my IMAP AOL accounts. As I had read prior to purchasing the interface is slightly dated but it works. The biggest problem is there is no Home Screen notification plug in but I do have a audible notification and all my saved folders are syned with AOL's server. I'm happy for now. No bugs or lockups.
