Fizz Weather Question - Motorola Q Forum

Well I tried researching this and so far I had no luck finding an answer to this. I am 90% sure it does, but does Fizz Weather require internet to work? Because I don't have an internet plan for my phone and I don't my bill to be huge because of this program running...

You need internet for the downloading of the current conditions and forecasts and maps. Can't imagine what good it would be without it.

There was another thread about this a few days ago. Someone mentioned that you could just set the program to update only while your Q is hooked up to your PC. The program's still usable this way, but I think the program it works best with a data plan.

oh really? is there by any chance a link to this you might know, I will just use that method. . ..

WiFi may be another option, of couse it depends on hotspots
