hey- I googled BGR & saw what you are talking about. this seems to be a separate program for Smartphones with some different features. I might check it out, but there is a separate Mobile app that is (i think) part of the official FB that will send notices to your text/email & allow you to update status via sms and upload photos via email...thanks for he heads up though

i tried the one from faceformobile.com - its third party though, not official.

i think i need to reread, sorry if i misinterpretted something.

Okay, well I booted up the old laptop and it faceformobile's application clearly states (after you register your name and number) "Not compatible with Motorola phones."

I'm going to try it anyway though, cuz that's how I roll

ETA: Nope. It looks like it's going to work, but then it (basically) locks up when you try to access the program.

Not sure. It says not compatible with Motorola phones, so I went on the Forum and read a post from a Motorola user. the developer responded that, basically, the only problem is that the Back key and the Delete key are one and the same and said if you carefully entered your information the first time, you would be okay.

however, even having done that, when I would open the application, it would freeze up. Task Manager would show it as "Loading" same as ajskhan.

Honestly I liked facebook more when it was for college students only...when they opened it up to high school, i thought it was gonna go downhill, but its still the best social networking site in my opinion. much less clutter than myspace...will def need to try this app out!
