Doom Install

Okay, I am bored... and it just occured too me that I wont be able to do this from my work PC tomorrow as I wont have everything in front of me. So in response too: http://www.everythingq.com/forum/sof...html#post62920 Here are some instructions that will hopefuly make it a little easier to install.

1. Download this file http://www.hellomotoq.com/forums/dow...d=139&act=down and this file http://www.hellomotoq.com/forums/dow...d=110&act=down

The first file is this:

2. Create new folder 1 and 2 on your desktop. Unzip the first file to folder 1 and the second to folder 2.



-Select: "Extract all files" here.

* Repeat the same steps for file 2, but place them into folder 2.

You get (folder 1):

3. Upload the entire contents of folder1 to a folder (call it doom maybe?) on your phones memory card.

4. Upload only the .wad file from download two, found in the "DoomSPV" folder (should be in folder two)... too that same folder on the phones mem card.


Once all of this is in the same folder on your phones memory card... basicly all of the files from the 1st DL and the .WAD from the 2nd DL, you can run the exe installer file from that folder and it will run fine.

Controls:
I use the center button to fire and the arrows around it to move.
To open doors.. you use 0, which is the alt and 0/?.

Thats it.. hopefuly this was usefull.

I would, but cant seem to get screen cap to work with Doom running.

its a game that was for the PC...google search it...you will learn all about it

It says that "Installer is not a valid Windows CE application"

however if you run celldoom.exe the game starts so no need to run the installer.

Is there a jump button?
Is there a way to make the screen larger? On the Q it is thin (doesn't fill the screen) if not it is a good game and brings back memories.

BTW the top soft buttons are strafe right and left.

can you change any key settings? I looked under options and didn't see anything.

I know this thread is a little old. I must say, this game is great. But as the previous poster, is there any way to make it full screen?

I cant seem to figure out how to upload even using active sync. Can someome help me out, everything is ready i just need to upload

Im not exactly sure where your running into the problem but.. Your going to use active sync to access your phones directories just as you would use "my computer" to access your PC. Find where it is that you want to place the files, and drag them into that folder.

I never tried to upload the game to internal memory... but Im guessing its too large. You will most likely need a mini SD storage card.

and... to my knowlege, there isnt a way to adjust the screen size yet.
