Other than putting the phone into flightmode which CT scheduler does....is there a way to set the phone to stop transmitting/ checking for emails after a certain time and then start again in the morning.
I don't want it to check my email accounts manually and I really want my phone on (ya never know when you need it).
Any ideas?
I have 3 accounts and each is set to different intervals, which is starting to put a drain on my battery.
could look into the many push mail programs out there too. just having your mail pushed alone will conserve battery! I use pusheffect and it has a sleep option to turn off during the hours you set. some of the others may as well...
I finally started using VZ Wireless Sync to try the push mail. It has the ability to set delivery times and works well. If you have the unlimited $45 plan, vz sync is included.

Ok.....I unistalled all CT programs, like birthday, scheduler, etc.
Next on the list to try is newsbreak and fizzweather.
This battery drain is annoying.
I can leave it plugged in if I want, but I shouldn't have to!
Okay narrowed it down to three programs.
Google maps, newsbreak and fizz weather.
tonight I will try fizz weather.
Tomorrow, newsbreak, etc.
I decided to get rid of STK8. Phone is running much smoother now even after I had tweaked STK I was really only using it for the tasks kill option, which never killed all tasks anyway. So after a few txts, and checking mail every two hrs battery is still at full strength since 6 last night.
having so many programs installed makes it harder to narrow it down.
How often you have fizz downloading data? And do you have it downloading everything like radar and ski reports? Fizz can use a bit of data and power if your constently downloading everything.

I had it every 24 hrs, then I changed it to only when connected to a pc.
I think its newsbreak or google maps.
But I will do one today to see if that one works, etc.
I guess its the only albeit annoying way of finding the problem.
