Default Deleting System Files

I am very new to this WM6 and the Q9h.

While I was trying to edit the smartphone homescreen xml file (to remove the Get Xpress Mail link), I accidentally "copied" the cingularsmart.home.xml file to My Documents.

Now I can't delete it - I get "permission denied". I am assuming that is because it is marked as a system file.

How do I delete this file?

What is Resco and Total Commander?

I assume these are applications I have to load. Isn't there a way to delete this within the WM6 OS?

Just wondering, because I have never had to do this....
Can you delete the file through active sync?
Would you still get "permission denied"?

@ OP: They are registry editors.
I don't have a link but do a search it should bring up some links.

Found a link for Total Commander

clarification: i mentioned those 2 which are actually File Managers. (Resco has a registry editor add-on, Total Commander comes w/ a registry editor)

deleting those files via ActiveSync will have the same result, i tried :}

Aaaahhhh! Dang, now everything is making sense. I just knew you used it as a reg editor but didn't associate it with a file manager. OK, where's my corner and the dunce hat? I swear, I'm beginning to understand the nickname my friends gave me!
Thanks, rb.
