Excellent solution to cut and paste deficency of the Q

Go to above site
Download "VitoCopyPaste_prerelease" to desktop
Unzip file
connect Q with USB and active sync
Use explore on activesync to copy the VitoCopyPaste.exe
from the desktop to the phone
Find VitoCopyPaste.exe by using file explorer on the phone
Activate VitoCopyPaste.exe by clicking
Read How to use in ReadMe.EN file on the desktop
Simple, just hold down the center button to
get the cut, copy paste menu to appear while
in edit mode on a file

thanks for the post...this has been known for quite sometime...also available is orenta sicissor mobile 2007...

I unistalled Vito copy/paste in favor of PhatSpell - which provides a spell checker plus copy & paste.

but vito is free and i dont think phatspell is...(i could be mistaken)

Phatspell sells for $40. That's just way to much for a mobile phone app.

Correct - but I really needed a spell checker as I rely heavily upon my Q for email, and I am a horrible speller. Having copy/paste built in is simple a nice added feature.

It is $19.95 as a stand alone (and well worth it - "horrible speller"); $40 is a bundled package price with phatnotes.

I tried Vito Copy/Paste, but it didn't allow me to copy or paste where I needed it most. I want to copy and paste internet address. I also need to copy and paste text within text messages. Will Phatspell or any other copy/paste software allow me to do that?

had that problem too...i'm tellin ya, try HookMgr!

and for text or email you have to hit reply first..same with all copy/paste apps!

What is HookMgr? Will it allow me to cut and paste or do I install it to make Vito work better? And, if it does work in conjunction with Vito, do I have to install HookMgr first then run Vito?

HookMgr is used inconjunction with Vito..for me I was unable to click on a URL in the address bar without it taking me there!! After you install it..in the task manager you will see something like 4687634. Thats hookmgr working..

It should work for ya......

I don't think it matters the order you install...I think you need to power off/on though!
