Default Coreplayer 1.02

I just bought a Q 2 days ago and in searching for a couple answers on some things stumbled across these forums and have been reading through threads for about two days straight now. Great site and big props to the mods who keep it running!
I decided dish out the $20 and get the coreplayer instead of TCPMP free version. Supposedly, the v.1.02 released worked out a lot of bugs, I figured what the heck and gave it a try. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this program, it has alot of advanced features and the video works fantastic. But audio is the problem, everytime I put a new vid in the playlist it gives me an error:

Player: Audio codec (Qualcomm QCELP) not supported by player!

Anybody ever use this program and see this error before? These are just vids taken with the phones camera not ripped DVD's or anything. Any info would really be appreciated, thanks.........

I did some research over at CoreCodec's forums and they don't support the Qualcomm codec. Here's the long and short of it from the developer, "without an open spec or an open decoder we cant do anything to incorporate QCELP support into TCPMP".

Glad you like the site. Tell your friends who have Q's.

I don't know why you didn't go with TCMP.72RC1, I installed this free player and man does it do a much better job than WMP. I get full screen video without any skipping or freezing, great audio and no bugs to date. I installed on the device and not the card and have not have the white screen. I use Xbar to kill it and it just goes bact to my home screen like it is supposed to. Now if I can find a good MP3 player I will get rid of WMP all together.

Chris, you went out of your way man thanks.. They're supposed to be coming out with another update for this program in the near future, maybe it will work. I'm going to give the free version a try.
