Default Can't download Active Sync

I was having an issue with my Active Sync and wireless sync last week and, while talking to Customer Service, they had me delete my existing version of Active Sync and then go to microsoft.com and download the newest version.

Everytime I tried to download v4.5 (any version actually) it will get to 94% and freeze or if I try to run it without saving it goes nowhere, i.e. the download popup shows 0%. I have called Verizon a couple different times but they say it is an issue with Microsoft and I have not been able to get any help from Microsoft (surprise).

Does anyone have a copy of Active Sync that they can zip and email to me? I would greatly appreciate it as I have not been able to sync contacts for over a week now.

Email - matthubert@hotmail.com

Thanks!

I would also do a virus scan, it sounds like you have something using all of the system resources (or close to it) and it should definitely let you install software that you download from Microsoft. As for the copy of ActiveSYnc, I will try and send it to you when I arrive home later. If someone can help you before that it would be cool and appreciated.

Thanks so much for the help - the install isn't the problem, it's the download. I am not able to save the file to my hard drive or run it straight from the site. I have downloaded other programs and run other files from the Internet a few times since then and every time I go back to microsoft.com and try again, but to no avail.

Thanks again and I'll look forward to your email!
