Default Canīt get candlelight to work...

Hello guys,

Iīve installed the candlelight.cab at my Moto_q, I can see the candlelight Icon at my start menu, but it just does not seem to work. Nothing happens when I click on it.

Anyone can help me on that?

Never had an issue with CandleLight. Try downloading a different CAB from here: http://www.scottschrob.com/Q/apps.htm

That's where I downloaded mine and I have the same problem. I don't really need it much, but it'd be nice if it worked.

Just to clarify (not sure if you intend to use it as a flashlight as the name might suggest) candlelight is a program that lowers the lcd brightness - not to turn on the flash on the back of the phone...if you are tryin to use it to lower lcd brightness, then I apologize for the unnecessary explanation

I didn't respond at first as the first user said moto q, but as a point it does not work on the Q9s.

It does, as long as the sensor stays clean ( but the careful application of canned air ensures that)

If by Q9s you mean Q9c, thanks, that's why it didn't work for me.

Yes by Q9s I mean: Q9C, Q9M or Q9H (WM 6.0)

Dear Candor,

thanks for the help. I have tried it, but nothing has changed. When I click on candlelight icon, nothing happens, and I do not have any menu option for it.

Can you tell me what was supposed to happen? Should another screen come up, or a menu to be available?
