It should work if you have a Q1 and the only thing that happens is the screen light softens when you click the icon then brightens if you click it again.

Well... I would like to have some degree of control on the screen brightness of my Moto Q 8 with Windows Mobile 6. The candlelight program seems not to work in my configuration.

if the Q8 does not have that smartlight like the Q9, and Candlelight does not work i am out of ideas...
