Calendar question

What steps are required to enter a todo/calendar item. For example on my pda it takes 4 clicks plus entering the text for the appt:

1) press a button to launch the calendar program
2) select 'new appt'
3) type 'meet jack for dinner'
3) click on the time, select 5:00, select ok, close the app

I use fascade and papyrus.

I tab to the calendar and press the center button,
I select the view: last view, daily view, list view, grid, monthly... your choice..
menu, new apt...

Or you can create a speed dial for your calendar program...
1.click on it and it opens to the last view...
2.menu, new apointment...
3. type meet jill for dinner and other info...
4. select done

Can anyone tell me how to open the calendar with a month view instead of daily view?

Are you using fascade and payrus?

If so...
I select schedule and it opens to my last view... thus, if month is my last view it opens to month...
