Default Best way to Dial phone numbers with letters in them!

Theres a great software from Boopsie that makes it very easy to to dial a phone number like 1800dentist and all those so called "vanity numbers". This program was revamped to work with the Q. Awesome that someone came up with this program called SpellNDial...and its all FREE! Find it here.

http://live.boopsie.com/home/sdug.html

This site will show you how to use it (very easy) and download it from here too!
Thanks to Greg, who worked very diligently to tweak it so us "Q ers" can now dial vanity numbers with the greatest of ease. Everyone will need this at some point, so get it now! !!!

Finally able to try it out. Its ok. It would have been better if it worked as soon as you start dialing, instead of starting the program then dial. But good none the less.

the Q dialpad hack seems to be fine for me (& easier to install, no config at all) . . . i don't have to dial vanity numbers much anyways.

Plus it gets low marks for usability . . . you have to start up a separate program just to dial a number on a phone. you don't want to make a phone any more complicated than it is

i agree...
its a great way for users to use it with out hacking but i would rather not have to start a program in order to dial a number...good work though!

how does the Q dialpad work? is it just a picture of the dialpad that you can refer to? or is it a program that actually does the work?
