Default Battery consumption and agile

After oing just about everything to save battery thatat is suggested on this forum had gone out with my wife for dinner. In oder to keep in contact with work I leave agile on constantly. While at dinner I realized that my battery was dieing already. I have been very unhappy with the battery life of the Q s has many others. I have since turned off Agile and have done a lot of IM forwatrding to receive my IMs through t text. This should do until I can find a gui based sms client for aim and yahoo. Just thought I would post this since I have not seen anyone mention it yet. I will post how my battery usage goes tomorrow just using text and usual data.

well I see people looking at this thread but not writing on it. For anyone who is actually intersted I unplugged my phone this morning at 8am. I have used the phone and done a bit of data. I wouldn't conisder it extensive data. But I have been text messaging all day. I forwarded ims for aim and yahoo. I'm using txtMan because I couldn't get smsThreading to work properly on my phone. This seems to be a solution for now. Need a gui based SMS messaging system. That would be nicer. Ohh phone is going to last a def 12 hours. Probably not the whole night though. This is with constant use.

I unplug my Q about 8:00am use it all day up till 10:00pm with a bluetooth ear
mic. and I have a half of a battery. I made about 12 calls and used the net for about 1 hour. I also have the extned battery. I hope this is of some use.

Thank you. That is very helpful. I plan on purchasing this very soon. I was trying to figure out how to get my phone to deal for a while with the current battery. Has nothing to do with the fact that my wife doesn't understand why I would have to spend more money on a phone then I already have Soon enough..
