Applications WILL NOT SAVE to Mini SD card

Please help, i have just purchased a new 2gb mini sd card, i went into file manager and the card shows up and says that i have 1.86GB of free memory.

When I am loading apps on my Q, i get the option of saving to my device or to my card. When i choose my card the application ALWAYS says that is was uncessfully loaded!!

When i try it again to load the same program and choose save to device it works, what am i doing wrong?? it has done this with several different applications (Documents to go, Fizz weather, are the 2 i remeber)

I have loaded SKtools recently and now when i shut the phone off and turn it back on it asks me to format the card, i have done this and it says sucessfully formatted.

Any advice is appreciated, i am still new with the Q, and have learned piles from this forum.

I've never had a problem with my 2GB card, but I think it might be your brand name... I would just exchange the card if you can, or try a different brand.

Can you put anything else on the card? Try copying an MP3, CAB or doc and maing a folder. After that try installing a program. Just a thought.
