Default App Installation Question

I know installation questions have been covered ad nauseam here, but I didn't find one addressing whether it was better to install apps (like fizz weather, facade, etc) onto your SD card or to the Q itself. Would it improve system performance if the app was not taking up the limited memory space available on the Q? Or does it not work this way? thanks

thanks for the response. The reason I asked is cause I just ordered my 2 GB miniSD card and I was wondering whether it would make a difference to install these apps on the Q itself, or whether I should wait for the SD card to arrive and install them on it.

well if you dont feel like waiting go for it on the Q...but if you want to save space wait until you get it...then again you could install it and then uninstall it when then card gets to you...

pardon my noobness, but I don't quite follow how you could install it in one place, uninstall, and then install in another--aren't these just download programs, without a CD or other media that contains them? Or do the vendors track or maintain some records that allows you to download and reinstall multiple times once you've purchased access? thanks again
