Anybody know of a "copy/edit text" freeware app. for opera 8.65?

Anybody out there know of a freeware or trial program that allows you to copy/edit/paste/etc. text, that will work with operas browser? i use Vito Copy/Paste, which works fine on the q or with PocketIE but with opera it wont select text or paste it, when you hold down the "open" program button (whatever key you have assigned to open Vito) it just acts as if you have pressed return and pushes the text down a paragraph. I have also tried phatspell (which has all the same functions plus a spellcheck) with the same results! thanks for the help guys!
