Default Any free VPN software to see my desktop from my phone?

Is there any way I could see my desktop and click something, such as the shut down button from my phone... remotely... freely...?

Idealy I would like to go to the next track in itunes and be able to refresh a page on firefox and turn off my computer but it seems a bit far fetched?
thanks!

install ultravnc on you computer then search for the vncviewer program for windows mobile. it will allow you to interact with your computer at home as if you were sitting in front of it. if you have any questions pm me.

first if you have a router you will need to tell it to forward all traffic on port 5900 to the computer you installed ultraVNC on. after that you will need to have your ip address (not the one from the router, [if you use one] which will be something along the lines of 192.168.*.*)

in the server box in VNCviewer enter [your ip]::5900

the password entry will be whatever your password is in ultraVNC.

the recent box is actually a selection box. the program remember the last few servers that you connected to so you don't have to retype in the info everytime.

if you need any more help just let me know.

Keep in mind you need to log into the external ip address, not the router's ip address (192.168.....). May be that I am stating the obvious, sorry if that's the case. Also, most people have a dynamic i.p. address (your isp changes it occasionally). Services like www.noip.com will monitor and map your ip address to a constant domain name.
