Oh another thing . . . im kinda not too up to date on my technology "lingo" so would someone care to explain what a BETA version is because i see it a lot and i had someone try to explain it to me but they didnt quite know what it was either so that only confused me more!

beta test Last modified: Friday, October 03, 2003 A test for a computer product prior to commercial release. Beta testing is the last stage of testing, and normally can involve sending the product to beta test sites outside the company for real-world exposure or offering the product for a free trial download over the Internet. Beta testing is often preceded by a round of testing called alpha testing.

Hey I tried to download the file from that link and when I put it on my storage card, it says something like "this application is not designed for for Windows CE device"?>? How do you get around that??

From what i can tell the two operating systems Windows CE and WM5 are quite the same. Looks like WM5 was built off of Windows CE, but the configuration is not the same, below is what i got from the microsoft web site

What is the difference between Windows Embedded CE and Windows Mobile-based Smartphone and Pocket PC software?

Windows Embedded CE is a customizable, embedded operating system for a variety of small-footprint devices. OEMs can use Windows Embedded CE to design platforms and customize applications to maximize the user experience for devices such as handhelds, thin clients, logic controllers, and advanced consumer electronics.

Windows Mobile is a complete software platform built on Windows Embedded CE. Unlike Windows Embedded CE, the Windows Mobile Smartphone and Pocket PC operating systems are specifically designed for devices that require a specialized hardware configuration. The software includes standardized interfaces and applications that ensure compatibility across hardware designs. For more information, visit the Windows Mobile Web site.

If you would like to look further here is the link.

So to answer your question, i dont think you can get around it with out having WM5

Sorry i couldnt help more

So in a nutshell, are you telling me I can't get this alarm on my phone?

Should I just say, "How do I get this ALARM to work on my phone??"
