If you need a desktop interface and don't have Outlook or some other similar program, you could try a hosted exchange service like mail2web, which would give you access to an Outlook-based web interface through your PC, and then just set ActiveSync to sync your Q with your calendar, tasks, and contacts with the hosted exchange server.

As long as you can sync data to/from your device and PC, the information will show in Agenda One on the device. There is not a matching PC version of the program but any desktop program that syncs to/from the device will work, like Outlook. Sometimes the WMDC can act funny if you don't fully install it, download it again and see if that clears up the problem.

I know of no other besides Outlook. Do you?

Default No Outlook

...OH yea I guess I forgot to mention that I DO NOT have Outlook of any sort on my Laptop (The Comp I want to use for sync). Not sure if i mentioned but I also DO NOT have a data plan. I wish it would just sync with the windows contacts and calendar, they are the things im most concerned about (notes too I guess). Let me know if you guys have any other suggestions for me.

Nevermind about my suggestion of mail2web then, as you would need a data plan. If your only choice is to sync via cable or bluetooth with your laptop, then Outlook (or other similar program, if the Q is compatible) may be your only option. I don't know of any free programs that could substitute for Outlook, but I'll leave that question to the experts here at EQ.

You may be able to use the free Google Calendar, but not sure if the WMDC works with that or if it had it's own sync software. You can also purchase many desktop PIM programs like ACT, Goldmine, etc.

I know OggSync will let you sync with a Google calendar, but it's not free, and I don't know if you're only option is to sync OTA if you're not syncing with Outlook on your PC.

Does activesync or WMDC sync with ACT or Goldmine. I used to use ACT exclusively when I worked and loved all it could do. I tried to port using that and Activesync last year. All I've read is that outlookis the only thing that syncs. It would be nice to have alternatives. Let us know.

Google Calendar syncs fine through a data connection via Oggsync. It was free a month ago, Unless that changed the free version only syncs with one calender and is limited. That still leave you with contacts and tasks to get to your desktop.
