No, not the same. .NET CF 2.0 is from Microsoft. MOL2 is from Motorola.

That hack works, to a point. Still some issues even after applying that hack. I would advise reading through the entire thread, before blindly installing the hack. You are limited in the length of the message you can send. Less than 100 chars. in most cases, as well as the recipient not always receiving the entire message. I believe the creator of this hack and Txtman (one in the same) will confirm this.

ive read about that, and that was why i kind of am willing to go back to the original system settings so i can use all of those programs without doing all of the hacking.

But i still dont understand why my txtman doesnt work if all i have done is install cf 2.0???

That depends on what you consider "normal". My suggestion, if you are syncing your email and contacts, etc. via ActiveSync or Wireless Sync and don't have any or many apps installed, would be to do a Master Reset and start from scratch, re-installing everything, starting with syncing to restore your email, contacts, etc. and then installing major apps, such as .NET CF 2.0 first followed by Txtman and other such apps and utilities. Just my opinion.

Curious though what problems you are having with Txtman, because I never had trouble running it until installing MOL2.
