I want a universal remote program for my Q. TV, Radio, etc--all through the IR port.

From everything that I've read. If this was created, you would have to get up to walk within 3 feet or so of your tv to get it to actually work(low signal strength). With that said it would be fairly useless. Accept for comedy purposes.

There is a product like this called NoviRemote for the Treo and it's not so good. It connects via the SD port, so theoretically you'd have to use the mini-SD on the Q. Remotes are so good today, that I think it'd be hard for any smartphone to outclass them. In my book, nothing beats the TiVo peanut.

Looks like Novii only supports PocketPC, Palm OS and Symbian.

If I can play nintendo games and this runs equivilant if not better of office suite. Someone should surely be able to code up a quick ir signal sender. wish I knew how to code I would do it lol
