Default Moto Q application developement

Hi experts,
I have a Moto Q with following specification.

Technology CDMA 1x-evdo
Windows Mobile 5.0
Radio version Q2-BP_C_06.0B.11P Q2portable.
RIL Version 2.000 OS 5.1.195 (build 14960.2.4.0) Copyright 1996-2006

I decided to develop an application for this.
Which way is best between
1).Net
2)J2ME.

Please advice me on this.

Oh! Many thanks for your reply!!!
BTW, where can i see the comparison between the two ways of development option? I can make a glance at.

BTW, in the developer guide, i can see only the target devices
Moto Q 9h, Moto Q 8, Moto Q 9m, Moto Q 9c. I mentioned specification of my device in previous post. My device goes to which category???

Please advice me on this.

Just remember that if you're going to do smartphone development in .Net you're need either Visual Studio 2005 Standard edition or higher OR Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition or higher.

If these were the options then you'd select Motorola Q 8. I believe that's the series before 9 (e.g. Q9c)
