How do I sync my moto q with windows vista contacts, calendar, email? - Page 2 - Motorola Q Forum

I am starting development of a program that will do this. a far as I can tell right now, it won't sync on ook up when you plug the phone in. You will have to ru a seperate program to get it to work.

I will be posting stuff here with betas and what not. Als the program will be free to all EQ members, and probably the world.

Watc for a thread over he next week or so with more detais, and my progress.

The built in apps are nice, but you can't sync with them yet.
How stupid is that?
I thought Palm OS would have a problem, but it seems all phone platforms currently cannot sync to built in apps.

I work in the technical support department at Sybase iAnywhere which recently released "XTNDConnect PC Data Transfer" which can transfer Vista contacts, calendar and tasks both to and from Nokia, SonyEricsson and Windows Mobile phones (you can also migrate data to and from other applications like Outlook and Lotus Notes as well). Everyone:
I don't want to hijack the topic, but is related to the original thread. I don't know what happened, but maybe by now someone might be able to help me. I was able to sync with Vista and Outlook in my computer. However, for the last week or so I've been getting an "enter your password" for the Exchange/Server... I don't have an Exchange Server for emails, I just have the Contacts and Calendar. I've been trying to sync back the phone and I'm getting sad and not frustrated, for now. I don't know what went wrong. Has someone been able to work this out? I have been online and tried many things. But I think I'm still missing something.
