Has anyone used the webBrowser control in .net CF 2.0

Im having the strangest problem.

Im using C# i've created a simple form that contains a WebBrowser control object. My app terminates unexpectedly when it tries to instantiate the WebBrowser object, inside of the InitializeComponent() function.


I've run the same application on another pda , tmobile pocket pc phone, and it worked fine.

Im using NETCF V2 RTM ,
The OS version on the Q is OS 5.1.195 Build 14960.2.4.0
When i call System.Environment.Version it tells me that im running 2.0.6.129.0

You must be using the MOL2 update. Any program that uses a certain .net file will automatically fail. The file is Itap something.

that's true. I wonder if i can roll it back to the MOL1


do you know of any work arounds???

or do you know how i can open a web browser from my app.

There is a roll back. But with some consequences(prolly mispelled). there is a tread about this in the update section at qusers. just search itap
