ya need some help

ok everyone im new to all this so i need some help. i own a 9c nd i downloaded themes from http://ekopapers.com/. i downloaded them using active sync. and when i install them via phone it works but when i go to settings-home screen its not in the color scheme, just the background image. i treid that but it doesn't fit and you cannot see any of the image. am i doing something wrong?

I think I understand what you are asking.
Go back to Settings> HomeScreen make sure Home Screen Layout name is the name of the HS & everything is set to default.

It sounds like you need to not only set the home screen layout (which you've done), but also change the color scheme. If the color scheme you want is not listed with the other schemes you can download them from Eko's site.
