Vista Homescreen with threaded SMS?

Sorry if this has been posted already (tried searching for 'jgui' to no avail), but I stumbled across this app at PPCGeeks

It claims to have some sort of threaded sms built in. I'm not too crazy about all the other bells and whistles...but was wondering if anyone has tried this. I have ExtremeText and no matter what I do, it just bogs down my Q. I only launch it when I absolutely need it and dont want to scroll through my entire inbox.

Also, if you scroll down to the bottom of the jgui page (downloads section), it mentions something about having to unlock your phone with this link
