Thanks, Der Alta, for catching that!

Ok, looks like it's ready to go...

Dogsrule, just download the attached file to your PC.

Since we can't attach .xml files here, I just changed the extension to .txt. Go into your computer, My Computer>Tools>Folder Options>View> and uncheck "hide extension for known file types". Then go rename the file and just change the extension back from .txt to .xml.

Copy the new .xml file to your device's Application Data>Home> folder. Now go into your Settings>Homescreen> and select the new Homescreen - I titled it "Homer with Facade Calendar"

Let me know if it works for you.

after renaming it on the pc, double click it... it should be 1. opened if it's ok (most likely opened with Internet Explorer) 2. not open and give an error, which means the Q won't "see" it either.

Hold up! I think I see what's wrong... the file was originally named with "homes" in the file name... that's wrong. I think you might have renamed it incorrectly.

File needs to be named as such:

homer.home.xml

so when I renamed the original file I just added to the front of the file name not realizing the complete file name was incorrect.

rename the file to the following: homerfacadecal.home.xml

Be sure to rename it exactly as such or else you won't be able to see it.

Maria, I renamed the file you posted to read homerfacadecal.home.xml and moved it over to my Q, and I am still not able to see it, am I supposed to also rename something else? I only renamed the file you posted. Sorry this is a hassle! I do appreciate what you are doing for me.

Hmm... not sure why it wouldn't show up on your list of available homescreens. Are you sure you have renamed the file correctly, including the file extension?

I went ahead and renamed it properly, please download the file here: http://rapidshare.com/files/82502864...decal.home.xml

No need to rename it anymore, it's in the proper file format/name.

Make sure you are copying the file to the Q's Application Data>Home> folder (this where your other homescreen .xml files are located as well)

Post back if you're still having trouble.
