I was bored today and decided to make me a Star Trek TOS homescreen. It's nothing fancy. Just a basic theme that gives me the information that I want. To make room, I eliminated the stupid profile plugin that I never use anyhow and added my Instant Messenger and missed calls to it. If anyone wants to use it let me know and I'll clean it up enough for release. Right now it's dependent on OZ messenger but that's easilly fixed. I'm tempted to make a much nicer one based on the upcoming Star Trek XI movie using Facade. I haven't made any homescreens before as I stay pretty busy with my web design and hosting business but it might be a fun side project.

I think I like this one better. Opinions? I borrowed one of Eko's menu bars and added a Starfleet insignia to it.

Looks good. This is the site. The everythingq mods are consistant, the help is endless, and the pros offer tools and sample code to people that want to learn how to do these screens...

Is this a great country or what!

I changed the look a bit as I was using the black softkeys. I used more Starfleet gold also. The final version can be downloaded now in the post below.

Just copy the enclosed jpg and xml files to the Application Data\Home directory and then select it as a homescreen. It looks best with the Black Softkeys but that's up to you.

Very nice! I dig the new MRU bar with the gold color!

I seem to remember that someone over at qusers.com made a homescreen based on LCARS that turned out pretty cool too...

Basically the same as the last with a new wallpaper I photoshop'd using the official teaser poster. You can download it in the post below. The shadow on this one moves when viewed at an angle and looks pretty slick on the Q screen.
