That "Frieger SmartBatt" looks like the sort of program I have been looking for, a simple battery readout on the homescreen, has anyone tried it on the Q?

Ideally we could find RemyJ or someone might recreate RJShortcut from scratch. Doing a Google for RemyJ and Denver (his profiles on older sites shows this as his hometown) shows him present more recently on some non-WM5 sites. Looks like he went Blackberry and Motobikes. I'm trying to reach him through these sites.

RJShortcut will allow larger icons if you use .BMP files for icons! I'm using 44x44 icons for my faked MyFaves dailing homescreen (which can be found on MoDaCo.com and other sites). Just be sure to leave a transparent/black border around your images so they'll highlight when selected.

1. It has a maximum width that limits it to only being as wide as non-widescreen smartphones.

2. It only supports 16x16 and 32x32 pixel icons, which is pretty small on the Q's screen.

3. The selection box around each icon is messed up unless you use icons from a DLL archive. Unless you can package custom icons in a DLL you get ugly results.

4. It is impossible to know just where each icon is kept on the Q, in which DLL etc. -as far as I know. Maybe someone can help with this.

5. The developer is MIA, if we could get a hold of the source code for it maybe we could make the necessary changes to make it what it is potentially.

I am currently using Black Vista and love the home screen. I have installed
Photo Dialer with the home screen plug-in and I have removed some other stuff using Facade, It turns out I have enough room on the bottom for 1 more row and would love to put in my data usage plug-in. (spb gprs)
This program comes with a plug in but I dont know how to get it on Black Vista
