Missed Call Screen

i just tried that and it still isnt working.

I put the image in /Application Data/Home/ and then in the code i named it xxxx.jpg and it still isnt picking it up.

also could you get it to say Missed Calls: # of calls

are you reloading the homescreen?

meaning if you edit the screen you are currently using and then reload the xml file its not going to take those changes
you need to load a new screen up...let it take control..then go back and load up the screen you want this way it can accept the changes you made

after you edit the homescreen xml file do you just put it back on the Q in \application data\home folder and not reload the homescreen?

i have a feeling that you are not reloading

to do this you have to
1. make sure the updated file (xml file) of the homescreen you want is in the \application data\home folder
2. start--settings--homescreen
3. pick ANY homescreen and load it
4. go back to start--settings--homescreens and load the screen you want

this is the ONLY way your updates will take effect...the screens do not automatically update after you change something if you are running the screen you changed

yep i did that. It worked, but now the picture is too big is there a certain size it has to be...and still how do you change it to say Missed Calls: #

image needs to be 320x213

as far as putting 'missed calls:' on it all mine are done in photoshop...so the words 'missed calls:' are part of the image then you move the x & y coordinates around so the # lines up

So in the code you posted previously in this thread... where would I put the words "Missed Calls" if my missed calls picture doesn't have it in it already... (did that make sense?)
