If you mean a custom image in the area above the "Control Bar" when the player is on screen or around the "Album Art" when songs are playing ...YES. You just need to take the 'background jpg" , open it in PhotoShop or PhotoScape(freeware) and paste a proper size custom image in the area above the "Bar". It can not cover any of the bar. Save the image, rename it the same as the original, copy it to the original folder...it will over write the original. Then close and re-open media player, search for skins...your new image should be visable. (Always Back-up or make copies FIRST!!). If you mean the blank area around the screen when playing widescreen movies in full screen mode or "Full Screen" movies when the control bar is present...I don't know. The black around the playing movie is why I sized the player skin the way I did. I convert movies to 320 x 240 for Zune and widescreen movies fit perfectly. If you have a background image you would like added to one of players I posted...just attach a jpg or link and I will do it and repost. I can also do custom colors....but I work alot....can't guarantee I'll get a chance to post more than once a week. ================================== After checking I remembered I used PNG images. I am attaching an alternate background image for the "purple" player png . QUICK TIP....You can make any image album art . Just make sure that all the songs from the album are in a folder named " the albums name, example " Bad Hair Day". Then find an image you like. Crop it to 200x200 (they can be wider , ? x 200 ) . Name that file "folder.jpg" . Insert it into the same music folder that matches the album . Media Player will find it. If you "synced" the music, and small album art plays....Un-check "Hide Hidden Files" and "Hide System Files" you can then see and remove or overwrite the small ones with larger images!! Sometimes there are multiple images with different names and sizes....you only need the "folder.jpg" image (at least it's that way on the Q9m....always make copies or backups before deleating). Hope you like the new image.
I when ahead and made an alternate background for the Turquoise Player also. Follow the instructions above to replace background in skin.
Enjoy....If you like them let me know. Other colors are available.
