Default Is there a program for this?

Well, I would like to have a go for this since there seems to be a lack of anime themes for the Q and since I will label myself the resident anime man *looks at avatar* I would like to know if there is a program that is well, almost drag and drop-ish

From what I see, it's all in xml and you have to type in the coordinates. Yikes!
It would be sweet if there was a prog that could just drag the icons and junk around so you could place it anywhere you like. Is one similar to this available?

Also, how can I find a complete list of fonts that come installed with the Q?

there are (if that is what you mean) some WYSIWYG home screen editors, i tried a couple and honestly, they suck... plus if they were working very well there were tons more home screens out there, and not like currently hundreds of different backgrounds with basically the same xml/info on the screen.

font wise: i have asked this question and so far no concrete replies... i tried adding fonts with nu success.

hs editors:

ruttensoft seems like the perfect choice.
Problem is, it doesnt seem to have the Q as an option

but i like making GOOD backgrounds ;p

take my avatar for example. I just cropped an image and stole the homepage design from someone else.

But the image (the menu holder and the original placement and artwork) were all done in PS. It's the little things that seperate good homepages with quick snapshots

i partly agree, but what is a nice background without all the information the phone user wants to see.. exactly, nuttin' :}

as i stated, i think more people should create different xml's instead of just changing backgrounds using the same old (often boring) xml.

That's kinda the different between a good homescreen designer (talkin' about the people, not the tool) and "hobby" homescreen designer.
