Image Size?

Howdy, working on my first home screen, and I noticed that the usual 320x240 image doesn't seem to work on my Q. If I shrink it down to 240x180 it fits alright, but that makes for a small area to work with.

I was wondering if there is some resolution setting that I need to change, or if it has to do with the DPI of the image or something.

I'm using an silver Q, and I think I have MOL3, but I am not sure lol.

The space that is left for the background image (after subtracting the softkey height) is 320*213
