Default How do you make somethin non-selectable?

what is the xml code for making something unselectable or non-selectable? I want to show my calendar and email/text count but i don't want to be able to select it. Thanks in advance!

Isn't that coding only used when using the orange plugin? I'm not using it on this screen. Also, for the screens I am using i have CHILD and it is selectable. Any other ways? I thought i saw it on a screen once and I just can't remember the coding (or what screen it was from). I thought it would be something like:

<format state="non-selectable>, but that isn't working.

this is the only way known to me (which does not mean a whole lot)... and i always used Orange so. wouldn't surprise me if the child & focus is for Facade.

That is if your HS is using orange. If not maybe u could eliminate the "selected/unselected" lines under each plugin.

Hope it helps. Peace

Another option (if using orange), would to be to put a spacer plugin first as a shortcut then make the calendar the second shortcut in the xml). Orange makes the first shortcut selectable which in this case is just a spacer, and leaves the second shortcut unselectable. Assuming your calendar & text counts are on the right side of your screen.

You can't set a standard (built-in) plugin as unselectable. I guess you can do it by using the Orange plugin, but I don't know anything about it. Some 3rd party plugins allow to set the selectability by code (e.g. RJTime, Smartmonitor, ...).
