How can i fix this xml? - Motorola Q Forum

I am using this xml, it's great, but on the message counts, there is parenthesis around the number of messages even if it is 0, like this (0). But on the last one, MMS, it is just the parenthesis and no number in the middle, and no space for one, it looks like this (). can it be fixed? thanks

Dang i meant to do that, how do you do that, tried everything and cant figure out how to upload an xml, i can upload a pic but not url, throw me bone please.

either zip the xml file
or remove .xml and rename it .txt so it can be uploaded

Ok think I got it this time, here is a screen shot also where you can see that the MMS just has ().

i am not 100% sure but i think the MMS counter/indicator only works combined with the e-mail counter.

yea i agree
since MMS uses data i believe it is tied in with email and not a seperate item
all my screens have it tied into email

so to answer the question i dont think you can just put MMS on its own

you can but it has to have the <unreadEMAIL/> in it since <unreadMMS/> isnt real
so everytime you can a message (email) both email and MMS will come up with (1) and samething when you get an MMS
both MMS and Email will show (1)

OH ok I see, sorry I didnt understand at first. I got it now, thanks alot for letting me know! So the MMS is really there just for looks, it doesnt have a function. If I was to get an MMS, where would it show up on the counter, in email?
