There's your problem. The combination of these two must equal 121. Change The Carrier to 51 and the profile to 71.

See how that looks. I'm eyeballing the 51 so it may be more/less than that. Adjust those two numbers to get the profile where you want it, and keep the other plugins in their location.

Do you know of a (preferably free) program that will allow you to edit a .xml directly on the Q?

I know there are a few out there, but I don't know of any off the top of my head. I just stick with Notepad on the PC.

Answered my own question. Vieka WordPad does just that.

I did some modifications to this homescreen. All of the buttons work now. (they didn't when I downloaded it originally) Your carrier will be in place of my name.


Click here to download. Facade required.

unzip it and dump it in \Application Data\Home\
you will need to register the orange plugin and buy the facade plugin
change the color scheme to black and the screen to black vista (modded from gadgets black vista screen)

Buttons - Top row - Opera Mini 4 (free), eXtreme Text ($), Photo Contacts Pro ($), Google Maps (free), Dash Weather (free), File Manager. Bottom row - task manager, photos & videos, windows media player, TCPMP (free), (calendar v2), settings. [3rd row on v2 - calculator, outlook mail, QNotes (free), SprintTV (free), call history, voice notes]
I can make changes to the buttons if need be. (change the Opera Mini button to Internet Explorer or XT to default messaging for example)

That is a very nice home screen! Did it take you long to do it? Amazing what you did with it. Thank you for posting it. Downloading it just to peek at the xml & maybe try to get something to stick to ol' the brain cells.
