Hi everyone. I just got my first Q, or smartphone for that matter and I am loving it!

I have the q9c from sprint.

I am trying to keep my homepage sorta simple, but sorta not really.


What I would like on my Q9c home page (in order top to bottom) is:
1. top bar with everything thats usually on it (BT, Battery, signal, etc)
2. Then DIGITAL Time (preferrably big), and to the right the date
3. Then the list of used apps in order - small icons, one line and hopefully 6+ of them (sorry, I don't know what its officially called)
4. Then my current profile (normal, etc)
5. Then missed calls/texts/gmail etc...


Feel free to put home service/sprint anywhere, and I don't use the calendar often enough for it to be on the homepage. I would really really like the Oz IM plugin to be on the homepage, however I don't know how easy that would be.


Color scheme preferred: either a nice blue, red, or black (please no green, pink/purple, yellow, etc). <--- but can't I use X home screen and X color scheme? So not a big deal... right?
Background: I figure you can put whatever you would like as long as it corresponds with the color scheme.

I would hope the buttons on the bottom stay the same (Start, Contacts)

Thanks a ton guys! And I hope I am not asking for too much. I did try to create one, but... I am not the best at this stuff (lets just say, it was a disaster.)

It's usually better 4 both u & us if u choose a homescreen pic and attach it here. The reason being: We can move the plug-ins around on the pic so that no important parts of the pic is covered by text. Yes u can use any picture for your homescreen, however, some text might appear on someone's face for example.


Oz IM plug-in?? That's one that i haven't heard of, but Im sure someone has here.

Fair enough, but I was just planning to use a premade wall papers that are onthe q, not really custom. Any Idea where I could find those?

all over the web. Find an image you'd like as a background, or give an example of one that you like (look through the homescreen thread for an example).

Oh and one LAST thing... I would really like the shiny start bar, ya know not just the bland WM5 looking one, but the ones that have a little shine. The type shown in the moto Q9 stock piture here

a Start bar like that can only be accomplished by 1) getting a Q9 with WM6 or 2) install Smart Toolkit.

RB: He/She already state that they have the Q9c which should already have the WM6 and new start bar.

Ajskhan: U should already have the "shiny Start bar" on your Q. When the designers make a HS we don't/aren't able to design that part of the HS. So if u have it on your q already, it will be there when u apply the HS that the designers make (even if it show the old start bar in our screen captures).
