Home Screen and Eko's black soft keys.

I put together this homescreen by taking a bit from here and there on other homescreens. Works great, but when i tried to use ekos black soft keys with it my phone goes whitescreen. I had to delete the homescreen off the phone then turn the soft keys off and put it back to get the phone to work again.

Does anyone have any idea why this would happen? Any Help would be appreciated.
