Facade and battery life

There are a few apps that will lessen the charge life of your battery, Smart Vista is the most notorious. Does a Facade home screen use more battery than a plain, non-facade home screen?

I only use screens with facade. And I don't notice any problems. My battery life is good(4 to 5 days of light use).

Maybe I am playing with my Q too much. That may be a newbie thing. I've gone from using the more fancy homescreens and have gone back to the more simple things. I guess things will settle as I get used the Q.

Wow! How the heck do you get that kind of battery life period? I admit that use my phone quite a bit (20+ texts and web browsing in addition to calls) but I only get 12 hours before I have to charge. On my days off work where my usage of the phone drops a lot I still have to charge after 20 or so hours.

I often go without using the web. I have POP3 set for sync once a day. And usually just make a couple hours of phone calls. And I have fizz weather updating every 2 hours. When I use my phone heavily, multiple mail syncs a day, web browsing, and a lot of text. I only get about 2.5 days out of it. This is with the extended battery of course.

I have the extended battery. I have Facade, fizz weather updated every hour, I'm an internet junkie (teathered right now), light phone calling <20min/day, and have Mol2. On a work day when I go to bed I have 3 bars left. On a day off like today I'll have 2 or 3 bars depending on teathering as it charges the Q.
