Just a thought, is there any way to impliment a DL tracker on the HS thread just so we can all see what are the favorite ones, and how many are DL. I think it would be prett cool

As an admin, you can review the stats of how many downloads of attachments happen. Much like reviewing any other stats. How you'd publish that info is another story.

Then how do you figure in downloads of something like my screens? I store mine on my own server, and link to it from here. I suppose you could record how many times the link is clicked. I store mine elsewhere, first, because I don't want to clog up the EQ server, and second because I do post them elsewhere.

Der Alta has a point (i also like Scott's suggestion, let Chris do it :} i am snooping around the in the forum control panel, so far i have not found how to see all attachments, if we are able to see it we have to see if they have a d/l counter.

ya, you should be able to track it by clicks, like when u do an attachment and it says "32 views" and what not

that happens in posts when the image isnt show but just the file is
so if you loaded a zip file you will get that (views: xx) but not if you just post a link
