Correct. Now if the max filesize was A BIT higher, everybody could upload their homescreens that way. Current max ZIP filesize of not even 100 KB is a bad joke...

Probably the best way to do this would be to create a separate Home screen gallery as a separate Web page (or group of pages). The Home screen thread would just link to the download in the gallery.

A good gallery would allow tagging Home screens with keywords so people could sort on that to more easily find screens they like.

This obviously wouldn't allow tracking downloads from other sites, but trying to track every Home screen everywhere is a fool's task.

well i dont.. haha, but the zip file comment before makes sense, since it is hosted right here on the site, as far as seening the views and what not. May not be possible but would be a cool addition.

quite some folks host the home screens they made on their own web space... or 3rd party file hosting providers.

only way i see this as a working situation is if every home screen is hosted by the same well, host :} or i can set up a gallery quite easily if the demand would be/is there (and that way it is not mandatory that all files are hosted at the same place.)
