| With all the screens that I did, I forgot subtle differences between the versions.
You are correct. V1.3 doesn't have a screensaver, but it does have a Hidden Facade. Combining the Screensaver from V1.4 into 1.3 gives you a screen saver and a Hidden Facade. A version that I didn't build. I think at one point i had that on my list of versions (15 versions of each screen, scaled back to a final 10).
I wonder if I should build a V1.3.5
You've done nicely, young padawan. :D
And I'm guessing you grabbed the proper buttons from V1.3 and added them into the 1.4 to make everything align properly? Excellent.

Basically I added the screensaver onto it. And of course with my grandsons' pic as the screensaver background pic though. And of course set the links in the Launcher tab to my usage habits.
Love the FizzWeather on top and the messages on the Icon plugin... You create some truly unbelievable work DA.
Anyways, I can't say thanks enough times to you Bro, I have learned so much about these XMLs from your work. Thanks again. |

| By all means, expand upon them as needed. I don't mind in the least.
It took me a while to figure out some of the intricacies of Orange, and Facade, but once done it really seemed to work well together. I personally prefer having a nice background image on my phone and when I figured out how to hide facade, it makes for such a nice layout.
I also try and keep my XML clean and organized. Easy to read makes for an easy understanding. When I first started this a few months back, I was reading through some of the other screens (I actually paid for Ruttensoft, Gah!) it was aking to deciphering hieroglyphics. I decided to use a method of organization in my XML coding and it really helps figuring things out, and rearranging them.
Glad to know that it has helped you.

Can you add the last used items to this screen? I love it but your other screens have spoiled me and I'm used to seing it. You do great screens! |

| Well, thanks for the help with getting the buttons for the Packed Blue..but I can't get it to load on my phone. Acts like it's not there at all (copied the buttons folder and the xml and jpg to the \applications\home folder).
To troubleshoot I tried to put your original xml in there (without modified phone numbers) and it still didn't work.
Do your screens work on Sprint Q9c's? I assumed the would, but that may be a bad assumption.
The only other thing I can think of is that I'm still in the trial period for Facade and fizz. Would that make any difference. The only other thing is, I tried to load the code in internet explorer (on my desktop... XP with Explorer 6) and got this error with both the original code and my modified code...
The XML page cannot be displayed Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later. End tag 'buttons' does not match the start tag 'home'. Error processing resource 'file:///C:/Documents and Settings/xxxxxxxx... </buttons>
----^
Any brilliant ideas? I'm not a programmer but I do write scripts (I work with active directory) and HTML so I think everything looks good....but I could be wrong as this is not my area of expertise.
EDIT: Found this in the code... Quote:
</buttons>
</plugin>
</buttons>
</plugin>
| I took away one of the sets and it works fine. BTW, it is in the original download on...page 21, I think...now everything is off alignment wise... Fizz weather is too big. Hopefully I can figure that out.... thanks again for the wonderful homescreen
