Default Change gray bars to black on homescreen?

On my Verizon Q I use the "Default" color scheme but I'd like to change the gray bars at the top and bottom to black. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

um...it changes the bars (obviously) and changes the background and text of the menus (ie: settings, homescreen etc.) but not the actual homescreen

those are "hard-coded" colors ? non-changeable ?

well yea if your using that 'color scheme'
since your changing the scheme in the homescreen menu it will override the actual xml files scheme...for those menus but not the actual homescreen...probably coded that way
