For future reference, exploring your device through ActiveSync actually opens a modified
\My Documents folder. The modification is the
My Windows Mobile-Based Device icon; opening that opens the root folder of the device.
As eko said, you can put CAB files in any convenient folder on your device and "run" them from there.
\My Documents is a favorite to use for the reason given above.
