Default Can't Install .cab file

I can't install .cab file -

It says to copy to \Windows\Start Menu but when I open file management icon on my sync (Vista) there is no Windows folder -

I can do zip files fine cause they install to Application Data - then "Home"..

MG

Edit: When I open my mobile sync program, there is now "Windows" folder next to Application Data, etc... I see it on my Q but its not on my computer for me to copy to...

Default

you can just copy it to application data/home and then go to your file manager on your phone and run the cab file from there.

For future reference, exploring your device through ActiveSync actually opens a modified \My Documents folder. The modification is the My Windows Mobile-Based Device icon; opening that opens the root folder of the device.

As eko said, you can put CAB files in any convenient folder on your device and "run" them from there. \My Documents is a favorite to use for the reason given above.

no no
you dont open the cab file
you click on the file (the entire cab file) in the file manager and the file will install...do not remove the cab files contents

Default ?

I thought that might be it - but when I click on the screen on eko site it saves it to disk as a zip file... then I unzipped it.

So you are saying I shouldn't unzip it? How can I download it without it saving it as a zip file?

Default another ?

While I got you here I thought I'd run this by you.

On the default VZW Full Layout, my icon/selector always defaults to the MRU list - when I come back to home screen from anywhere else... It seems on all the home screen I've downloaded I always have to scroll or click down to the MRU list. Do you know of any screens that work like the VZW list...?
