Default Arg! I installed Smart Monitor and now my Q keeps freezing! How do I uninstall it?

Keep in mind, that it seems I only have so much time to attempt to do anything before my Q freezes up and than have to remove the battery to perform my power cycle to try again.

Im hoping if someone can direct me to uninstalling what I recently installed via a CAB file, that I will be okay! THanks!

OR, what is the quickest route to a Master reset? I guess I will just have to manually enter in my contacts once again.

I have Sprint service.

I had the phone for just over 30 days. And I do not have insurance. Any suggestions from those who have Sprint?

Please help! I should have payed heed to the warnings about Smart Monitor!!! Arg!! THanks!

to uninstall a program go to start--settings--more--remove programs

and to do a hard reset turn off the phone...turn it back on and hold the center silver button and follow the prompts...

if you use outlook and have already synced you contacts and calendar you wont have to reinsert them...just hook up via active sync and watch them go back to the phone!

The same thing happened to me 2 days ago, with the same Smart Monitor. I only would have about 7 seconds to try and change my settings before it froze. I ended up doing a *gulp* master reset. Other than that, with only that little bit of time, I don't know what else to do.

well, luckily, I was able to get to Remove Program in time before it froze. I was successful in doing so without the dreaded master reset. It was kinda like a video game of speed and patience navigating to it, where I had to reset (pull battery out) many times! Thanks!

That happened to you as well? I was trying to install a homescreen and it locked up on me bad, I had to change the homescreen to the default one then reboot several times to get to a point where I could uninstall it.
