Default App List

Not sure if this is the right forum for this but what controls the list of apps which appear in the home screen? I looked in the xml but I dont see anything obvious.

Thanks

Rich

welcome, it is the MRU = Most Recently Used.. so the last x amount of apps you started.. it rotates.

that list is the MRU plugin
which means most recently used programs
so whatever you have been using will show up there

if you want a launcher plugin you should look in to facade

Thanks guys. Nice to find a place to get some friendly help on customizing the Q9c. You guys said I need facade to do have the custom apps on the HS. But on the Customize homescreen options in the phone it lets you have user defined apps. I was using this method when I first got the phone and didn't use custom HS and it let me define which apps would show and not use MRU. So I DL'd one of ecko's HS (the cannibis one to be specific), one that didn't require plugins or facade but it would only use MRU, even if I set it as user defined in the settings. Can I edit his home screen xml file to change that, or is it just the way it is? Thanks!

I can't speak for other models, but the Q9m allows you set static programs in that list instead of the MRU without Facade.
